I had a dream I arrived at the airport of Zurich (I’ve never been there before and in my dream it was the first time too ) with some friends (don’t know which ones ) We all had hand luggage only but when we arrived the luggage had to go through a scanner and the scanner had enlargement glasses that would enlarge anything that was written on packages in much detail so it took very long for the hand luggage to be given back. Mine was the last one and to my surprise there were 3 big glass jars in my hand luggage with sort of large fresh tomatoes that were peeled and the pits were removed , they could have also been red paprikas but very soft and large I thought it was strange that this was allowed in hand luggage and I didn’t recall buying or packing them .I had a connecting flight to Brussels ( sometimes I fly to Brussels to visit family) but when I looked at the information board that flight was going to leave in 10 minutes at gate number 2 and that would have been almost impossible to reach one of my friends Katya seemed to be working there and said she would take me with her car instead of the speed train but once in the garage she couldn’t find her car . I decided that I would not be able to make it and went into the shopping area then 3 flight attendants came to me urging me to get to another flight to Brussels I went with them and they said I was lucky as there were still 3 seats available I was grateful and said thanks for getting me another flight as it was not my fault that I had to miss the previous one as the luggage took way to long but they said I still had to pay for a new ticket I asked for the price and they said it was 140.000€ I said that’s the price of a house ! I started crying and said I’ll look into taking the Flixbus and then they started talking about it to each other I also thought I should check for a flight to Porto instead (Porto airport is closer to where I currently live)
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Here’s a breakdown of the different elements in your dream, focusing on the feelings they evoke and potential meanings:
Zurich Airport: Airports can symbolize transition, new beginnings, or journeys in life. Zurich, being a new and unfamiliar location, might represent entering a new phase or facing an unknown situation in your life.
Hand Luggage: Hand luggage often symbolizes what you carry with you emotionally or mentally as you navigate through life. The fact that you only had hand luggage might indicate you’re feeling the need to keep things light and mobile, both in a physical and emotional sense.
Scanner with Enlargement Glasses: This detail suggests a feeling of being scrutinized. It might symbolize a fear of judgment or the feeling that aspects of your life (like your choices or emotional baggage) are being examined too closely. The slow process of getting your luggage back could indicate you feel pressured or anxious about how long it takes to address these elements of your life.
Glass Jars with Tomatoes or Soft Paprikas: These items being in your luggage might symbolize something you are nurturing (like relationships or projects) that may seem unusual or unexpected to you. Tomatoes, often associated with growth and abundance, could represent nourishment, while the idea that you didn’t remember packing them suggests surprise or the feeling of having hidden resources or talents that you’ve overlooked.
Connecting Flight to Brussels: The urgency of the flight can signify a critical opportunity or decision in your life that you feel you might miss. Brussels may symbolize a connection to family or deeper roots, hinting at the importance of those relationships to you.
Friends and Katya: Friends in dreams can represent different aspects of your personality or support systems. Katya’s willingness to help reflect a need for support, but her inability to find her car might represent feelings of lost direction or inefficiency in your wake.
Flight Attendants Offering Help: They may symbolize authority figures or guidance in your life. Their urgency in getting you on another flight expresses that help is available, but the high cost represents a feeling of sacrifice or consequences associated with changes or decisions.
Crying & Cost of New Ticket: This part reflects feelings of helplessness or overwhelm. The extreme price suggests you perceive the choices you have in your life as unacceptably costly.
Considering Other Options (Flixbus and Porto): This shows adaptability. Your mind is searching for alternatives that feel more feasible or within reach, a reflection of the importance of finding resolutions that align with your current situation.
Overall Interpretation: Your dream reflects anxieties about transitions, the feeling of being scrutinized, and the pressures of missed opportunities while also emphasizing the need for support and adaptation in challenging situations. It may suggest a time of evaluating what you carry with you (mentally/emotionally) and the importance of looking for practical solutions to navigate life's complexities.
